How the extension works

When you right-click a link or click the toolbar icon, the link address is read locally only to draw its QR code inside the extension popup. The link is never transmitted or logged.

Permissions

contextMenus: adds “Show QR code for this link” to the right-click menu. activeTab: reads the address of the current tab only when you click the toolbar icon. storage: remembers your chosen QR size and briefly passes the right-clicked link to the popup; this data stays on your device and is cleared automatically.

This introduction website does not use cookies for tracking and does not run analytics. The live QR demo on the page is also generated in your browser.
